Meet the Staff
I am brand new to Finish Line Wellness team as of November 2019! I grew up in St. Michael, MN where I went to state and was all-conference for Track, Football, and Top 5 for Mr. Basketball. I got a full scholarship to SCSU for basketball where we made history and went to the Final Four! While there I got my degree in Sports Medicine and Coaching with an emphasis on advanced nutrition.
I then hired an agent and played professional basketball and traveled the world to Spain, England, and China for about 2.5 years!
My job here as the “Wellness Director” tasks me with helping implement wellness programs for nutrition, diet, exercise, pain management and weight loss that work hand in hand with our team of Chiropractors and therapy providers.
I enjoy just about everything sports as well as getting outdoors to fish and enjoy the Minnesota summers on the lakes or at the cabin! I’m ecstatic to be a part of the FLW team and the community surrounding us!
I've been with Finish Line Wellness since fall of 2011. I handle all of the insurance billing for the office and manage patient accounts. I am generally in the back office, but you may see me at the front desk from time to time. I grew up in Rosemount, MN and currently reside in Savage, MN with my husband and daughter. I enjoy spending time outdoors, tackling DIY projects and traveling when my hectic life allows it. I love working at Finish Line because I am surrounded by a like-minded team who truly cares about the health and well-being of people!
I am originally from Washington State, born and raised about an hour south of Seattle. I recently got married in November 2019, which is what brought me to Minnesota! My husband and I now live in Prior Lake, MN. I attended Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL, where I received my degree in Business Administration. Growing up and throughout high school, I was very active in sports. I played basketball, volleyball, and also ran track. It wasn’t until after my first year of college that I truly fell in love with fitness outside of sports and started taking my health and wellness very seriously. My interests include working out, traveling, reading, spending time outdoors, and creating memories with friends and family! I am excited to be a part of the Finish Line Wellness team and become even more involved in our community!
Hi, my name is Misael but everyone calls me Micha (Mee-Cha). I was born and raised in Minnesota and have been living in Burnsville for the past 15 years. I went to the Academy of Holy Angels where I played soccer for all four years and was also part of the math team and president of the Spanish club. Right now I am a student at Inver Hills where I am studying Marketing and Sales. I love working at Finish Line Wellness because they patients feel more like family members than just strangers coming to a clinic. Finish Line Wellness has this amazing atmosphere that just makes you feel at home. Stop by the front desk and say hello.
I’m from the small town of Cokato, MN. Growing up I was very involved and active at school, which is where my love for health and fitness began. I was a two-sport collegiate athlete, and after graduating from Minnesota State University Mankato, I taught physical education. I’m passionate about inspiring people and it energizes me to be part of the Finish Line Wellness team that helps people live life at their best through every circumstance and in every aspect!
My marketing background includes work in the country music scene, blogging & public speaking, and you may even find me in a TV commercial or two!
My other interests include trying anything that pushes me to the limit such as dancing, traveling, attending concerts, trying new foods, doing anything creative and making memories with those that I love.
I was born and raised in Saint Michael, Minnesota.
I am the youngest of 4 (Theo, Carly, Cory, Myself).
I was very active while growing up, played basketball, football, baseball, and golf.
I was the class clown growing up, like to keep the mood light.
At age 15 I was told to quit all sports due to multiple knee issues. Valgus knees, Osteochondritis Dessicans (OCD), Osteoarthritis, and consistent cartilage damage over time. I declined, and later graduated from Minot State University with a degree in Corporate Fitness and Wellness Management while also playing Division 2 basketball there for 5 years.
I had 8 surgeries over the 8 years I was in high school and college (3 L knee, 2 R knee, collarbone, wrist, and R elbow).
My past medical history is part of the reason I wanted to work somewhere in the health field. I want to help people achieve their personal health goals just like all of the people that helped me with my health issues throughout the years.
